I like Benedict Cumberbatch's acting, but I agree with the commentator that said Robert Sean Leonard should play Alan Turing.

I mean, just look at this picture of Turing.

I think RSL could do it. Yes, I know RSL isn't English, but it's not like we haven't had non-American actors play American figures before (i.e. Daniel Day-Lewis as Lincoln).
